Where It Started

Ben Gaines I founded Gaines Manufacturing out of his garage with a hands-on approach to building quality furniture. What began as a small operation quickly earned a reputation for reliability and craftsmanship within the hospitality industry. Word spread not through marketing, but through the durability of the product itself.

Partnership & Global Reach

The company partnered with hospitality pioneer Kemmons Wilson to manufacture furniture for Holiday Inn properties worldwide. From sofas and lounge chairs to bar stools and banquet seating, Gaines products found their way into hotels "from Memphis, Tennessee to Memphis, Egypt." This era cemented the Gaines name as synonymous with large-scale hospitality furnishing.
